The primary purpose of this study is to develop an agricultural literacy scale for secondary school students and to compare students' agricultural literacy levels and attitudes towards agriculture according to some demographic characteristics determined in connection. Descriptive research method was used in the research. In the research, the attitude towards agriculture scale the agricultural literacy scale developed by Güçlim and Çalışlar within the scope of the study were used as measurement tools.The pilot and final implementation of the validity and reliability studies of the attitude towards agriculture scale and the agricultural literacy scale were carried out with 3808 secondary school students. The result of the validity and reliability study was the KR-20 reliability coefficient of the attitude towards agriculture scale.895 is the KR-20 reliability coefficient of the agricultural literacy scale. it is calculated as 854. As a result of the analysis of the data collected from secondary school students, it was determined that the students' attitudes towards agriculture are positive and the general knowledge culture levels towards agricultural literacy are high. In the study, 8 in terms of agricultural literacy levels attitudes towards agriculture. a significant difference was observed in favor of students who chat with class students about agriculture and livestock in the family on one or more issues, whose father's education level is elementary and secondary school, whose profession is farmer and artisan according to the father's professional group, use the Internet as an information source, and reside in the village and district center in a residential area.
