This study aimed to examine postgraduate research conducted in the field of children's literature between 2018 and 2023. Postgraduate studies in children's literature were classified according to the categorization of research types and topics in children's literature by Kathy G. Short in her book "Research and Professional Resources in Children's Literature: Piecing a Patchwork". The classification consists of 11 themes: theoretical analysis, thematic content analysis of texts and literary analysis, author and illustrator studies, reading attitudes and interests, family and preschool literacy, historical research, literature-based curriculum, teaching strategies, and reader-response research. In addition to these themes, studies that encompassed multiple themes and adaptations of children's literature were included in the research. In this study, which aimed to examine postgraduate research conducted in the field of children's literature between 2018 and 2023, the works were examined through document analysis method. The obtained data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. Along with the research, it was found that there were more master's theses in the examined studies, qualitative research methods were generally preferred, and the majority of the studies included a theoretical framework section. The most prevalent theme in the studies was textual and literary analysis, while the least prevalent theme was reading strategies. Recommendations were provided to children's literature researchers based on the findings of the study.
