In this study, the effect of QR (Quick Response) application on retention and achievement.The research group is 50 ninth grade students who take Information and Communication Technologies course in an Anatolian high school. Experimental group consists of 27 students, and control group consists of 23 students. Personal information form and hardware achievement test were used to gather information about students. At the end of the study, it was seen that there is a significant improvement with respect to achievement and retention in both experimental and control group. It was found that even though average score of experimental group is higher than control group with regard to difference in achievement, there is no significant difference in achievement in groups.Although average score of experimental group is higher than average score of control group with respect to retention, it was found that there is no significant difference in groups.
