Işbirlikli Çevrimiçi Ortamlarda Katılımın Sürdürülebilirliğine Etki Eden Sosyo-Bilişsel Değişkenlerin Modellenmesi
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate some socio-cognitive variables affecting online collaborative learning process, and to suggest a model regarding the sustainability of participation in online collaborative learning environments.For this purpose, social, economic and environmental dimensions found in the sustainability literature have been discussed in the context of socio-cognitive variables that are thought to be effective in online collaborative learning processes.There were 69 undergraduate students in the study, who took BTO411 Project Management and Development course in 2013-2014 Fall semester at the Deparment of Instructional Technology and Computer Education at the Education Faculty of Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. Path analysis was conducted to examine the complex relationships among variables of the study and the passive participation was found to be related with the active participation and the number of the messages.
