The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between social justice leadership (SJL) and ethical climate according to the views of teachers working in lower secondary schools. The study was conducted with correlational design and stratified random sampling method was used to form the sample of the study. The data were collected from 764 teachers via Social Justice Leadership Scale developed by Özdemir and Pektaş (2017a) and Organizational Ethical Climate Scale adapted by Özen and Durkan (2016). The data were analyzed via IBM SPSS 22.0 Package Software. Frequencies, percentage, standard deviation and mean were used for descriptive findings. Independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used to determine whether teachers’ opinions on SJL and ethical climate differ according to the demographic variables or not. Upon finding statistically significant difference between the means of three or more independent groups, Scheffe test and Tamhane’s T2 test were used in order to determine the source of the difference among groups. Pearson correlation coefficient was calculated to see whether there is an association between SJL and ethical climate. Multiple linear regression test was used to explain the impact of SJL on ethical climate. The results showed that lower secondary school teachers' perceptions of SJL and ethical climate were strong. Perceived SJL behaviour and ethical climate differed according to some demographical variables used. There is a positive, high and statistically significant correlation between SJL and ethical climate, and SJL is a statistically significant predictor of ethical climate in lower secondary schools.
