Yabancı Dil Olarak Almancanın E-Öğrenimine İlişkin Bir Araştırma
Özet
The adaptation of education to the constantly evolving technology is inevitable, and significant
advancements are particularly observed in the field of foreign language teaching.
Technological developments are spreading across all aspects of our lives at an unprecedented
speed and scope. Therefore, the changes and advancements in technology also lead to the
emergence of new techniques in education. E-learning, which stands for electronic learning,
has been developed over the years to support foreign language learning and promote
autonomous learning. E-learning platforms supporting the learning of German as a foreign
language play a significant role. Among these e-learning platforms, MintiCity e-learning
platform is the most widely used platform in our country. The purpose of this study is to
investigate the effect of the MintiCity e-learning platform on students learning German as a
second foreign language. To achieve this aim, scientific data were collected through a survey
from 160 students using the MintiCity e-learning platform among students studying German as
a second foreign language in private Maya middle schools in Ankara. In the survey, the
motivation scale was used to determine students thoughts on the MintiCity e-learning platform,
and the quantitative data obtained were analysed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for the
Social Sciences) statistical package program. Quantitative content analysis was used as the
research design in the thesis.
