This study aims to research the relation between female school managers’ social support perception and work life balance by some variables. Quantitative correlation study being one of the quantitative analysis methods was used. 207 female school managers working in public schools in the central districts Keçiören, Altındağ, Çankaya of Ankara, Türkiye, 2021-2022 educational year took part in. “Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support” developed by Zimet and others (1998) and its factor analysis, validity and reliability was studied by Eker, Arkar and Yaldız (1995) were applied to female school managers for the purpose of predicting social support perceptions. “Work-Life Balance Scale” developed by Apaydın (2011) was used with the aim of analyzing female school managers’ work-life balance. Having analyzed the validity and reliability of the scales, SPSS 22 was used in data analysis. Descriptive statistics, One Way Anova, and Pearson Correlation were carried out. According to study results, female school managers’ social support perceptions were high, and did not differ by marital status, educational status, seniority, number of children and age. Having analyzed the relation between social support perceptions, work life balance and sub-dimensions, family social support’s increasement affects work life balance positively. Findings show that increasement in friend social support makes work life balance easier. Someone special sub-dimension affects social support perception positively. Results show meaningful, low and positive relation between social support perception and work-life balance. It was determined that female school managers’ social support perception is a significant predictor of their work life balance.
