Sınıf Öğretmen ve Öğretmen Adaylarının “Güvenli Laboratuvar Kullanımını” Gerçekleştirme Amaçlarının Planlanmış Davranış Teorisiyle Belirlenmesi
Özet
The aim of this research is to determine the behavioral goals of safe laboratory use of primary school teachers and pre-service teachers through Planned Behavior Theory. The data collection process was carried out with teachers and pre-service teachers in the fall semesters of the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 academic years. The teacher group consists of 328 primary school teachers working in 2 central districts of Ankara. 470 pre-service teachers studying in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of Classroom Teaching Department at Hacettepe University and Balıkesir University comprised the universe of the study. In this study, in which the current situation was explained with the structural equation model, the relational survey model was used. “Scale of Performing Safe Laboratory Use” was applied to the participants. The analysis of the obtained data were evaluated with structural equation modeling by using analysis programs. As a result of the research, it was determined that "Perceived Behavioral Control" was the most effective in explaining the "Behavioral Purpose" of primary school teachers, and "Subjective Norm" was effective at a low level, while "Attitude Towards Behavior" had no effect. In the PBT model of pre-service teachers, it was concluded that "Perceived Behavioral Control", "Subjective Norm" and "Attitude towards Behavior" were effective in explaining "Behavior Purpose". It was observed that the highest effect on the "Behavior Purpose" of pre-service teachers was caused by the "Attitude towards Behavior" factor. There are significant differences in the safe laboratory use of teachers and pre-service teachers according to demographic variables.
