In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between parent-child relationship and child psychological well-being in preschool period. Parent-child relationship and children's psychological well-being were examined in terms of family and child-related variables. Within the scope of the research, the evaluations of parents and teachers were included. The sample of the study consists of children aged 3-6 who are educated in public or private nurseries and kindergartens throughout Turkey. The data in the study were collected with "Parent and Child Personal Information Form", "Teacher Personal Information Form", "Child-Parent Relationship Scale" and "Social Emotional Well-Being and Psychological Resilience Scale for Preschool Children/PERIK". The results show that there is a significant difference between the variables of the child's age, gender, and number of siblings and the PERIK Scale scores of the children. There was a significant difference between the mean scores of girls and boys in the Emotional Stability/Coping with Stress dimension of the PERIK Scale. It was observed that the PERIK Scale scores of 6-year-old children were at the highest level. It was observed that as the number of siblings increased, the total scores obtained from the PERIK Scale decreased. There was no significant difference between the variables considered and the parent-child relationship scores. The results were evaluated in terms of the children's relationship with their parents and their psychological well-being and suggestions were presented to policy makers, researchers, and families.
