Abstract

Although Maths and Art are different areas from each other. Maths takes the nature as source like Art. Maths is a intellectual period and it is based on information and it is abstract concept. These features of Maths have a great role on the abstract feature of Art. Near date, Art moves away from the nature and it goes forward to learn the meaning behind the nature. A modern artist uses this art in harmony in her/his work’s. This rapport and order show the relation with mathematical concept and theory in direct or indirect way. Artist examines the numbers in Maths and geometric rules. He/she convert the Maths subject to art’s subject. The production can be done and Maths can be used for Art with endless variation of Art and application possibilities and usability of Maths in a conscious way. Fibonacci numbers, golden ratio, mobius strip and klein bottle, polyhedra, hilbert space filling curve, fractal geometry, helisoid curve, soap bubbles, kuantum theory will be examined in this thesis concepts. The refleactions of these theorems on Art will be emphasized and application section will be consisted of comments about quantum theory’s effects
