Farklı Soru Biçimlerinin Göz Hareketleri, Başarım ve Cevaplama Süresine Olan Etkilerinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine eye movements during solving questions
and to determine whether or not the eye metrics can be used for predicting
answers. Furthermore, examining whether question presentation modalities makes
significant differences in eye movements, it was aimed to examine for which
presentation modality, participants answer questions with less eye movements. It
was also investigated that, if the different presentation modalities effect the
response time and performance.
There were 16 questions included in past ALES and LES exams were
administered to 57 voluntary senior, master and PhD students from different
departments of Hacettepe University. 16 questions and modified versions
according to presentation modalities of them were administered to participants
within an interval of 4 weeks. During the testing process, the participants’ eye
movements were recorded by eye tracker and then analyzed with Tobii software.
