Öğretmen Adaylarının Yaratıcı Drama Becerileri Özyeterliği ve 21. Yüzyıl Becerileri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Creative drama is one of the modern teaching approaches and its use in lessons has increased today. The important role of teachers in transferring their knowledge and skills to students is known. Some of these knowledge and skills are acquired during the teacher education process. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship of pre-service teachers' creative drama self efficacy and 21st century skills. Random convenience sampling method was used in this study. 240 pre-service teachers participated in the study. Creative Drama Self Efficacy Scale and 21st Century Skills Self Efficacy Scale were used as data collection tools. SPSS Statistics 23 program was used to analyze the data obtained from the scales. Spearmen Correlation Coefficient and Pearson Correlation Coefficient was utilised. The findings show that relationship between teacher candidates‘ creative drama self efficacy and 21st century skills is positive moderate and significant; relationship of teacher candidates’ creative drama and 21st century “learning and renewal skills” sub-dimension is moderately positive and significant; the relationship of teacher candidates‘ creative drama self efficacy and 21st century “life and career skills” sub-dimension is moderate positive and significant; the relationship of teacher candidates’ creative drama self efficacy and 21st century “information, media and technology skills” is moderate positively significant. 21st century ‘life and career skills’ at moderate positive and significant; the relationship between 2nd grade teacher candidates‘ creative drama self-efficacy and 21st century skills was higher than relationship between 3rd and 4th grade pre-service teachers’ creative drama self-efficacy and 21st century skills.
