Sosyal Politika Teorisi Bağlamında Avrupa Birliği Katılım Öncesi Mali Yardım Aracı Kapsamında Yürütülen Women-Up Projesinin Etki Analizi

Abstract

In Turkey, policies and practices aimed at achieving work-life balance and increasing formal women's employment are becoming increasingly important. As a matter of fact, important steps have been taken in this regard in recent years and various European Union (EU) projects have been implemented. This thesis will try to reveal the impact of EU projects on the formation of mechanisms that will facilitate women's entry into the labor market through projects in the field of social policy. The main purpose of the funding provided by the projects is to reveal the tendency of women to stay in the labor market when the financial support provided within the scope of the project ends. Within the scope of the thesis, the impact of financial support provided through the Women-Up project was analyzed from a social policy perspective. The findings of the thesis revealed that the Women-Up project, aimed at promoting registered female employment, has been highly effective, and forward-looking policy recommendations were proposed.
