| dc.description.abstract | In Turkey, policies and practices aimed at achieving work-life balance and increasing formal women's employment are becoming increasingly important. As a matter of fact, important steps have been taken in this regard in recent years and various European Union (EU) projects have been implemented. This thesis will try to reveal the impact of EU projects on the formation of mechanisms that will facilitate women's entry into the labor market through projects in the field of social policy. The main purpose of the funding provided by the projects is to reveal the tendency of women to stay in the labor market when the financial support provided within the scope of the project ends. Within the scope of the thesis, the impact of financial support provided through the Women-Up project was analyzed from a social policy perspective. The findings of the thesis revealed that the Women-Up project, aimed at promoting registered female employment, has been highly effective, and forward-looking policy recommendations were proposed. | dc.description.ozet | Türkiye’de iş-yaşam dengesinin sağlanmasına ve kayıtlı kadın istihdamının artırılmasına yönelik politika ve uygulamaların önemi giderek artmaktadır. Nitekim son yıllarda bu konuda önemli adımlar atılmış ve çeşitli Avrupa Birliği (AB) projeleri hayata geçirilmiştir. Bu Tez kapsamında Türkiye’de sosyal politika alanında yapılan projelerle kadının işgücü piyasasına girişini kolaylaştıracak mekanizmaların oluşumunda AB projelerinin ülkemiz açısından etkisi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Projelerle sağlanan fonun temel amacı proje kapsamında verilen mali destek bittiğinde kadınların işgücü piyasasında kalma eğilimlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla Tez kapsamında sosyal politika açısından Women – Up projesi ile verilen mali desteklerin etkisi incelenmiştir. Tezin sonucunda kayıtlı kadın istihdamını teşvik etmeye yönelik uygulanan Women – Up projesinin oldukça etkili olduğu tespit edilmiş ve ileriye dönük politika önerileri sunulmuştur. | tr_TR |
