Türkçe Eğitiminde ‘Çevirme’ Becerilerinin İncelenmesi ve Türkçe Ders Kitaplarında Görünümü
Özet
This research aims to examine the Turkish Course Curriculum (2019) and Turkish textbooks
within the scope of translation skill, which is a sub-skill of the comprehension level in Bloom
Taxonomy. The main problem of the research is to examine the status of the achievements
in the Turkish Curriculum in terms of translation skill and to determine how the subtextual
activities in Turkish textbooks include this skill. The Turkish Course Curriculum (2019) and
Turkish textbooks prepared by the Ministry of Education, which are currently used as
teaching materials between the 5th and 8th grade levels, constituted the examination
objects of the research. The data in the Turkish Lesson Curriculum (2019) and Turkish
textbooks were obtained through document analysis. "Activity Evaluation Checklist for
Translation Skills" created by the researcher was used to examine the translation activities
in the books. At the end of the research, it is expected to reach the conclusion that the
translation skill, which is an important stage for students to make sense of the text and is
frequently used in daily life, is not included adequately in the activities in the textbooks and
the activities related to this skill in the book are repetitive.
