Eine Studie zum Online-Unterricht für Deutsch als Fremdsprache in medizinischen Berufen
Özet
The outbreak of Covid-19, which has spread worldwide since early 2020, has brought online teaching to the forefront. However, scientific studies have been conducted showing that online teaching cannot fully replace face-to-face instruction in schools and universities. Especially in foreign language teaching, students actively engage in the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) during in-person classes and feel more confident in personal interactions with teachers and fellow students. The content and methods used in general foreign language instruction, whether in face-to-face, online, or blended learning models, are tailored to the general needs of learners. In contrast, specialized language instruction should be targeted and consider the specific needs and professional purposes of the learners. Therefore, it is important to develop various teaching and learning models for specialized language instruction that are based on the learners' professional needs and are researched with scientific methods. The research approach of this work is to evaluate the impact of online language teaching in the field of German medicine on the language learning abilities of the learners using qualitative research methods. The aim of the research is to develop some suggestions and guidelines for the creation of occupation-oriented German as a foreign language (DaF) textbooks and German online courses based on the results of qualitative analyses.
