There are many translation works in Old Anatolian Turkish Launguege. Especially,
many works from Persian and Arabic have been translated into Turkish Launguege.
The book “Ĥikâyet-i Latįfe-i ʿUcūbe-i Maḥcūbe-i Ẓarįfe” which we were prepared the
thesis study is a story book translated from Persian to Turkish. The most important
characteristic of this work is that it is at the head of the Vatican Copy, which was one
of the two copies of Dede Korkut Book. For this reason, this work should be added to
Turkish Launguege. The work is just like Dede Korkut and it is an epic book
composed of stories. The book is registered with the number 102 in the Vatican
Library. In this thesis, the work was translated into Latin letters by using transcription writing method. It is not known at which date this translation was translated, which is
unclear to the translator and the expert, but based on the language features of the work,
the text can be found in XV. century or XVI. century.
