A basic method of Sports Biomechanics is capturing human motion and analysing them using mathematical methods. These methods provides us with an estimation of forces and/or torques through inverse dynamic analysis, starting from kinematic data of human motion. Though when the forces required for this analysis are synthesized directly using a computer, dependence on these experimental data would be nullified. Such an approach is thought to be necessary to have an opinion about sports motions those which are still not realised, and hence to expand the horizon of sports. Aim of this study is synthesis of handstand motion using a genetic algorithm and inspection of this synthesis process. It has been documented that such a synthesis is possible by realising synthesis of a handstand motion, and it has been pointed out that the method can be applied to synthesis of other human motions.
