Özet
The self is a dynamic concept that is shaped as a result of interactions with the environment from the first years of the individual's life. Autobiographical interpretations developed for this concept constitute the self-perception and this formation includes a process. In this direction; While the process of self-perception acquisition is a very important process that needs to be progressed with solid foundations for every individual in existence; this process proceeds more sensitively in gifted individuals who show hypersensitivity in social-emotional areas. The relevant literature is; It shows that in the stage of creating a self-perception, gifted girls have more difficulties than the targets. In the study, which was created based on this information, a total of 16 gifted female students (8 people in the experimental group-8 people in the control group) were studied and the experimental group; A self-perception development program including 8 sessions was implemented. For the variables to be measured in the research; Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Academic Self-Perception Scale, Scientific Attitude Scale were applied. In the analysis of data; IBM SPSS Statistics Base 22.0 was used and Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test were used. According to the research results; implemented program; The general and academic self-perceptions of the experimental group made a significant difference in favor of the posttest in the pretest and posttest scores, and an increase was observed in the scientific attitude scores in the posttest, but this increase was not found to be at a significant level.
