Özet
Clitics are structures that can demonstrate the features of dependent and independent morphemes, always leaning on the preceding or following host with the transformation of independent morphemes into dependent morphemes, and therefore can form a phonological unity. They also have common features with affixes and words, are unstressed and assign the stress to the preceding syllable. The typology of clitics and test researchs for their classification are presented in detail in this thesis. Clitics in Old Turkish, Middle Turkish and Turkish are handled on the basis of proverbs. The cliticization situation of pronoun-based personal suffixes and the cliticization situation of the copula are examined, and the other scanned clitics are evaluated under a separate heading. Most of the other examined clitics are structures that demonstrate affixation, grammaticalization and particle features. These clitics are: A / -+A, -+CA, -+çI, dA, erinç, erki and ki, -gIl, gU / -+gU, kim, clitic +ki, -lA and -(y)lA ̴ile, mA / -mA, interrogative clitic mX, Ok, takı, teg, üçün and için, yme. In the part of conclusion of the thesis, clitics in Turkish proverbs are classified as “Clitics Examined in in Old Turkish and Middle Turkish Proverbs” and “Clitics Examined in Turkish Proverbs”
