It is very important for Turkish children living in the Netherlands to identify with their mother tongue and be aware of cultural and historical values. In this context, public authorities in Turkey, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Ministry of Education, have provided a wide variety of textbooks, technologic course materials and Turkish teachers through civil society organizations, for the purpose of offering Turkish language lessons. Within the scope of this study, a case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to determine the opinions of Turkish children on which technologies are used in teaching basic language skills such as listening, speaking, writing and reading in their mother tongue. Case study is the type of pattern in qualitative research that can be both the product and the object of the research. In other words, case study is a qualitative approach in which the researcher collects detailed and in-depth information about real life, a current system or multiple constrained situations in a certain time period through observations, interviews, documents and reports (Creswell, 2018). The field research of this study was carried out in the Netherlands. The extent to which the use of technological tools is included in the educational environment and the competencies of teachers in the use of technological tools in Turkish teaching lessons will come to the fore.
