Demographic information form, the Nomofobia Scale, The Fear of Missing out Development Scale, and Social Alienation Scale were administered as data collection tools. In accordance with the nature of the problems discussed in the research, independent samples t test, one way variance analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used in the SPSS program. According to the results of the study, the girls 'nomophobia level was higher than the boys and the 12th grades' nomophobia levels were lower than the other grade levels. It has been concluded that as the time spent on the phone increases, the level of nomophobia increases, the level of nomophobia of those who use Snapchat in terms of phone applications is higher, and the time that their parents spend on their mobile phones increases, the level of nomophobia of the students increases. The number of controlling the screen has not been found to be an important predictor of nomophobia, and it has been found that there is no significant relationship between mobile phone usage purposes and nomophobia score averages. Finally, as the fear of missing developments and the level of social alienation increased, the level of nomophobia increased. The findings of the research were discussed in the light of the literature and suggestions for researchers, psychological counselors, parents and decision makers were presented.
