Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Aşk Biçimleri ve Kişilik Özellikleri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

In this study, the relationship between love styles and personality traits of the university students was examined. Besides, whether the love styles and personality traits differ with regard to gender and hometown was analyzed.The study was designed as a descriptive study and convenient sampling was utilized for this study. The data were gathered from 493 university students consisting of 305 females and 188 males studying in different departments at Beytepe campus of Hacettepe University in 2010-2011 Spring Term.To investigate the love styles of the participants, Love Attitudes Scale: Short Form (LAS) designed by Hendrick, Hendrick ve Dicke (1998) based on Lee s categorization of love styles and adapted to Turkish by Hovardaoğlu ve Büyükşahin 2004 was utilized. To explore the personality traits, Adjective Based Personality Scale (ABPT) devised by Bacanlı, İlhan ve Aslan (2009) based on Five Factor Model was administered to the participants. A Personal Information Form was deve
