Poli(Allil Guanidin.Hcl)'Ün Sentezi, Karakterizasyonu ve Antimikrobiyal Özelliğinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
In this work, poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAIAm) was modified over its amine group with different equivalents of cyanamide (1:1.2, 1:1.8, 1:2.6, 1:5.2), and poly(allylguanidine hydrochloride) (PAIG) was obtained at different percent conversions. N% values were obtained by elemental analysis and conversion ratio calculated as 45, 71, 98 and 121% for the compounds PAlG1, PAlG2, PAlG3, PAlG4, respectively. Synthesized compounds were also characterized by using FT-IR, FT-Raman, 1H NMR and 13C NMR techniques. Results show that PAIAm was converted to PAIG. Bands at 1760 and 1705 cm-1 in FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra belongs to –C(NH)2+Cl- and C=N bonds and the band at 1150 cm-1 in the FT-IR spectrum belongs to C-N-C bond. Peaks due to guanidine carbons were observed at 160 ppm. According to MIC results, 4, 16, 32, 1024, 1024 μg mL measurements on S. Aureus were recorded for PAlAm, PAlG1, PAlG2, PAlG3 and PAlG4, respectively.
