Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the relationship between school administrators conflict management style preferences and their personality traits. The results of the study are as follows: (1) While handling conflicts, school administrators use integrating style most. Integrating is followed by compromising, obliging, avoiding and dominating. (2) With regard to 5FKE, school administrators are mostly agreeable. Agreeableness is followed by openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion and neuroticism. (3) In this study, it was found that there are statistically significant correlations between school administrators personality traits and their conflict management style preferences. This result shows that school administrators personality traits lead them to handle the conflict differently.
