Aim of this study is to analyze 9th class English Foreign Language teaching curriculum according to views of teachers and student. This is a qualitative case study. The study was conducted in two schools, one of which was state and the other was private, in Ankara Çankaya at the level of 9th grade. Five teachers and 10 students from each school and 30 subjects in total were chosen randomly as the universe of the study. Data was gathered through semi-structured focused interviews implemented by the researcher. The data were analyzed through content analysis method. The results obtained indicate that state school teachers and students generally have negative views about subject also phrased that the themes of the course books were not interesting enough to attract attention. Significant amount of the subjects uttered that four skills were not effectively processed in the curriculum. Both groups have positive views about functions and useful language to be improved. About materials that are advised to be used in the classes in the curriculum, both groups have positive views, especially about the smart board. Besides, it was found that no extra methods and technics assisting the curriculum was used in state schools other than the recommendations prescribed in the handbook of curriculum. The view of teaching and learning environment is that both teachers and students are active during the lesson but it depends on the class. According to teachers’ and students’ views, evaluation techniques should be improved by adding more practice exams in the curriculum.
