Human identity is built through memory. Every reconstructed identity is associated with a piece of the past. The role of memory in the identities created by individuals to adapt to society is great. Individuals produce and make sense of norms by means of images in the memory.
Looking at the connection of memory with art, it can be seen that the production of art objects exists with images in the memory. As individuals build their own identities, the artist, through his own identity as well as memory, produces the art object, which is his own expression tool. In this report, conceptual art objects are produced, technician identification and examination of the location of memory, in this process you can look at the impact of identification and concept concepts on the history of works.
In the first part of the report, the concepts of identity and memory are examined and examined in sociological sense. In the second chapter, the effects of identity and memory in art were examined and the connections between concepts and the art object and art production were examined. In the third chapter, personal applications which are made with ceramic material are given based on the concepts of identity and memory.
