The purpose of this study is to examine the opinions of private school administrators about talent management in Ankara. For this purpose, the thoughts of private school administrators related to talent management concept, the process of the talent management, the difficulties in this process, the required measures for the process improvement and the necessity of process were analyzed. The research was conducted via 23 selected private school administrators with maximum variety and convenience sampling method in 9 center county of Ankara during 2017-2018 academic year. Case study was designed by utilizing qualitative research technique and data were collected by using semi-structured interview form. Descriptive and content analyses were used for data analysis and the results were supported by direct quotations from the participants. As a result of this study, school administrators expressed their opinions about student success, expectations of parents, the importance of competing with other schools, using information technologies to attract talented teachers, material and physical facilities to keep teachers in their institutions, school climate, importance of corporate culture, wage policy to ensure the loyalty of teachers and career possibilities. In addition, the results of the research revealed that there are problems in the determination of the talent correctly; there is no mentoring, electronic learning and orientation activities for the development of teachers; there is no performance evaluation system based on objective criteria and the future determination and leadership development activities are not mentioned.
