The interior architecture has an accurate structure and definition that is much more than what it seems to be. Interior architectural profession, and understanding of it; depends on the intended use of people, and it provides a perspective in the framework of the integrity created in the spaces. The design approach reinforces the spatial structure and experiencing by offering holistic solutions to the problems or demands experienced in the space. In this manner, interior architecture is; the solution for the needs of the user that is presented within the framework of the design values and the personal preferences those are analysed with the design values. The values with the profession; the evolution and the development of the education of interior architecture, and the point that we have today is the main point with this thesis.
In the first part of the study; the purpose, scope and methodology of the thesis has been clarified by explaining the process that requires are explained by explaining the requirements that require the study.
In the second part; the definition of interior architecture/interior architecture and environmental design, and the way it has been developed in the historical process along with the periods of ten (10) years are explained.
In the third chapter; the educational institutions, which are accepted around the world throughout the history and their educational concepts, are examined and revealed.
In the fourth chapter; the years in interior design/interior architecture and environmental design, that evolved in Turkey nor the education of the profession has been evaluated by investigating through the schools.
In the fifth chapter, the education of interior architecture / interior architecture and environmental design in Turkey has been evaluated, and after the examinations carried out through the course groupings, prominent topics have been put forward in the education process that is held today.
In the conclusion part of the study; depending on the results of the research and the noteworthy titles, the discussion has been done according to the result that was obtained by presenting the items needed in interior architecture / interior architecture and environmental design education.
