Abstract

DEMİR Nuriye. “Unity, Togetherness and Integration Through Ceramic Bodies” Master of Arts Study Report, Ankara, 2024 In the discipline of sociology, which addresses the relationships between society and individuals, the concepts of "unity," "togetherness," and "integration" are essential for ensuring social order and creating necessary conditions. These concepts need to be investigated for their contributions in various fields concerning society, such as culture, art, education, belief, and commerce. The interactions of the concepts of unity, togetherness, and integration within the structures of societies will be observed through individual and collective identities. From historical processes to the present day, the necessity of achieving unity, togetherness, and integration in individuals' lives, the formation of groups, societies, and civilizations, in international institutions and organizations, and for world peace and the sustainability of life will be researched, examined, and defined. The impacts of social, cultural, and economic mergers on integrations, contributions to the senses of purpose and ideal unity, peace, brotherhood, solidarity, and benevolence, their effects on artistic creativity, personal and spiritual developments will be emphasized through representations on ceramic forms and surfaces. The traces of separations, conflicts, and disconnections among individuals, as depicted through ceramic art, will be followed for the light they shed on personal creativity and universal integration.
