1923-2018 Yılları Arasında Uygulanan Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Dersi Öğretim Programlarının Analizi

In this study, curricula of Turkish language and literature applied between 1923-2018 were
analyzed. In the research, one of the qualitative research methods document analysis
design was used. The primary data source of the research is Turkish language and literature
curricula which was implemented between the years 1923-2023. Secondary data sources
consist of theses, reports and research articles prepared about the curricula of Turkish
language and literature. The qualitative data of the research were analyzed through
descriptive analysis. In the findings obtained from the research, it was seen that Turkish
language and literature curricula in Turkey was changed frequently until 1960, then it was
not changed for a long time and changed frequently after 2005. It was observed that the
curricula prepared until 2005 did not have all the curriculum elements. Since 2005, the
curricula have included all the elements. The curricula of 1929, 1957 and 2005 came to the
fore in a positive sense in terms of their elements and perspectives among the curricula.
On the other hand, the curriculum of 1976 stands out with its negative features, especially
in terms of aim and content. Although the curricula prepared in recent years contain all the
elements, when examined in detail, it has been seen that these elements are not structured
well. It is thought that this study will shed light on development of Turkish language and
literature curriculum and will benefit the curriculum development studies to be carried out in
the future.
