Akademik Başarıya Etki Eden Öğrenci ve Okul Düzeyli Faktörlerin İncelenmesi
Özet
The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between the academic performance of high school students and student and school-level factors. In this study, which was designed in a quantitative correlational research design, the relationships between cultural capital, academic willingness and social justice leadership, teacher classroom leadership perceptions and academic achievements of students studying at Anatolian High Schools in Ankara were examined. The target population of the study consists of students studying in Anatolian High Schools in Ankara in the 2020-2021 academic year. In order to collect data in the research, “Cultural Capital Scale” developed by Avcı and Yaşar (2014), “Academic Willingness Scale” adapted by Arastaman and Özdemir (2019), “Social Justice Leadership Scale” developed by Özdemir and Kütküt (2015), and by the researcher The "Teacher Classroom Leadership Scale" developed was used. The students' views on the variables were presented as mean and standard deviation calculations, and if there was a significant difference according to various variables, the t-test and one-way ANOVA were used. In the study, the relationship between the variables was examined by correlation analysis, and predictiveness was examined by hierarchical regression analysis. According to the research findings, it was observed that the students' perceptions of all variables were at a high level. In addition, low or moderate positive significant relationships were found between the variables. In addition, it was determined that only the cultural capital variable predicted academic achievement significantly.
