Adolescence, which is seen as the transition period from childhood to adulthood, is a critical development period in which socio emotional changes are experienced towards gaining peer relationships, identity and autonomy. The psychological resilience level of the adolescent and parental attitudes are effective in determining the adolescent's reaction to the stressful events experienced in this period. Psychological resilience is considered to be related to the ecological system theory, as it is affected by environmental and individual factors. In this framework, it is planned to examine the relationship between parental attitudes and psychological resilience levels during adolescence in terms of socio-emotional development. The study group consists of 308 students in grades 9, 10 and 11 who continue their education in different types of high schools in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. Data collection process was provided with Demographic Information Form and Environmental Relations Form, created by the researcher, the Psychological Resilience Attitude and Skill Scale Child Form, and the Parent Attitude Scale. Independent groups t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson Correlation analysis were applied to examine the information obtained from the adolescents. As a result of the research: there was a positive relationship between psychological resilience and the adolescent's perceived parental acceptance (r = 0.13, p < .05) and control (r = 0.13, p < .05) attitudes; negative statistically significant correlations were found between psychological autonomy (r=-0.15, p<.05) attitude. It was found that as the adolescent's perceived parental acceptance increased, the adolescent's relationship with school increased (r=.335 , p<0.001), and as the mother's relationship with school increased, the relationship the child established with school increased (r=,307 , p<0,01).
