Yönetici ve Öğretmenlerin Okulun Dijital Yönetimine İlişkin Görüşleri: Bir Karma Yöntem Araştırması
Özet
The aim of this research is to examine the views and experiences of administrators and teachers on school management in the digital age. In the research, "convergent parallel design", one of the mixed pattern types in which qualitative and quantitative patterns are used together, was used. In this context, the qualitative part of the research was carried out with the "case study" method, while the quantitative part was carried out with the "scanning" method. The participants of the research are 519 working in public schools in Ankara's six districts at the quantitative stage; In the qualitative stage, it consists of 12 administrators and teachers. The data were collected with a semi-structured interview form for the qualitative part of the research, and with the "Digital Administration Scale of the School" prepared by the researcher for the quantitative part. The collected data were analyzed with "content analysis" in the qualitative part, and with the t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) method in the quantitative part. As a result of the quantitative analysis, although negative opinions were expressed about the digital administration of schools as a business, it was concluded that a digital administration was exhibited in schools in general. The quantitative findings in question were supported by the qualitative findings obtained from the interviews. As a result, it has been determined that schools are managed digitally and increasingly digitalized in all aspects, despite many difficulties and deficiencies encountered.
