With the narrative turn, it has gained great importance in social sciences to look at what is micro, what is ignored, what is pushed behind official history in order to understand the social life. Despite the declaration that grand narratives are dead, today heteronormativity still functions as a meta narrative. Individual coming out stories produced by modern homosexual identities are constructed and told as a counter story to this meta-narrative. The coming out stories told by lesbian and bisexual women provide a lot of data on the social world in which individuals live, the moments of interaction and the construction of identity. In this thesis, women's individual coming out stories are subjected to narrative analysis and the processes of establishing lesbian and bisexual identities are tried to be understood through these stories.
