Eğitim Yönetimi Modelinin Ekolojik Sistemler Kuramı Bağlamında Geliştirilmesi
Özet
The aim of this study is to develop educational management models for the current and ideal state of the Turkish education system within the context of Bronfenbrenner’s (1979) ecological systems theory. For this purpose, the current condition of the educational management model according to the regulations and the views of the stakeholders organizing the education system and how an ideal educational management model should be designed according to the views of the same stakeholders was investigated. In the study, a case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, and criterion sampling were used. The data collection tools were interview forms and documents. When the main findings that emerged in the models were examined, according to Model 1, it was determined that an attempt is being made to generate comprehensive policies for improving the quality of the Turkish education system, that families are not included in the education system at the desired level, and that there is a need to strengthen policies for supporting teachers’ professional development. According to Model 2, students experience compliance problems in practices at school and the teacher is an authoritarian figure. According to Model 3, family support, a positive family atmosphere, and family income level are necessary to access quality education. According to the model proposal, happy, responsible, ambitious, highly motivated, self-managed, benevolent, participative students who are aware and prepared, and who do not consider themselves worthless, must be educated.
