Bologna Süreci Kapsamında Yükseköğretimde Akademik Program Etkinliği: Türkiye Üniversitelerinde Bir Uygulama
Abstract
With the Bologna Process, especially It is aimed to create a compatible European higher education area by developing standards in higher education. With this process which requiring fundamental changes in education, unique differences of higher education institutions can be apparent and comparable. By this study, it is aimed to measure the efficiency of academic program in higher education by using the outcome of this process as base. In this respect, the study is unique in the sense that it is the first study that measure the efficiency of academic programs in the framework of Bologna Process.In the study, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used to measure the efficiency. Since the value of some output factors can be increased only up to specific upper limit, instead of standard output-oriented model, bounded output-oriented model is used.
