Abstract

Within the context of this study, the application of techniques in painting and ceramic art are examined.Ever since the ancient civilizations both fields of art have been in close contact and mutually developed. Clay has always been convenient ,easy to obtain and low cost material for mankind in producing daily goods such as; pots,bowls,jars,vessels etc.While the functionality of these goods has been,initially, the prime concern, the search for aesthetics has added a new dimension to them.
