Özet
Education is the most basic human right that enables individuals to participate in society equally regardless of their legal status. Therefore, the fact that the increase in the number of people who have to leave their homes and countries could not be prevented in recent years has made the migration phenomenon one of the most important problems of today's world. When considered from this point of view, the subject of this study is the education policies and practices for the Syrian refugees of Turkey and Germany, which witnessed the biggest human tragedy of the last fifty years. This research was carried out with mixed method, and in the first part, qualitative research method, in the second part quantitative research method were used. In the first part of the study, Turkey and Germany's refugee education policies were discussed, in the second part, a questionnaire was set by transforming the different applications detected into items and the Syrian parents in Turkey determined by snowball sampling method were asked what policy implementations they considered appropriate for themselves. As a result of the questionnaire, it was observed that the participants in the study group preferred Arabic education in schools parallel to public schools, or that they wanted their children to study in the same schools but in different classes. Proposals have been brought forward for the policies that should be implemented for the education of these children, and solution proposals have been discussed to light the way for the decision makers.
