The aim of this research is to determine the work environment perceptions ofpreschool teachers‟ who work in independent preschools and elementary schools‟preschool classrooms which affiliated to Turkish Republic Ministry of NationalEducation and to examine the effect of teachers‟ perceptions on their performancein classroom. Teachers‟ work environment perceptions were examined by theirthoughts related to organizational climate in schools where they work.The population of this research consists of 2651 preschool teachers who work inindependent preschools and elementary schools‟ preschool classrooms in Ankaraprovince in 2012-2013 school year. The sample consists of 214 preschoolteachers.
