Okul Yönetiminde Hakim Olan Paradoksları Yönetme
Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the paradoxes faced, the sources of these paradoxes and how the administrators manage these paradoxes in school administration. In this study, mixed methods were used. Interviews were realized with the primary and secondary school administrators chosen by simple random sampling in Ankara province, centre districts. Open-ended survey was used as data collection instrument. The data were analyzed using content analysis, percentage, and frequency analysis techniques. As a result of these analysis, the paradoxes that the school principals faced with, resources of these paradoxes and with which methods they are managed were explained. It was determined that school administrators faced with centralization-decentralization paradox mostly and the most important source of this paradox is the MoNE (Ministry of National Education)-top management.
