Lise Öğrencilerinde İnternet Bağımlılığı ve Öznel İyi Oluş
Abstract
This is a descriptive study conducted with the aim of examining the relationships between variables of internet addiction among high school students and some of the individual variables and subjective well-being. The study group consists of 794 (335 male, 459 female) students attending to 9th, 10th, 11th and twelfth grade General, Science, Anatolia and Vocational High Schools in the spring semester of the 2011-2012 academic year in the district of the city of Manisa. Internet Addiction Scale (IAS) was used to determine the level of internet addiction and Adolescents' Subjective Well-Being Scale (ASWS) utilized to determine the level of subjective well-being. The data about student characteristics were gathered by using the Personal Information Form (PIF) developed by the researcher.
