Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Denetim Odağı ve Bilgisayar Laboratuvarına Yönelik Tutumlarının Siberaylaklık Davranışlarına Etkisi
Abstract
The aims of this research are to examine the reasons for students‟ tendency to the cyberloafing activities instead of their learning tasks engaging in, and to evaluate the relationships their between cyberloafing activities, locus of control and attitudes towards computer laboratory. Furthermore, the goal is to provide suggestions that would help students participate in learning activities according the presented student profile. Correlational research method was used in the study.
The participants of the study consisted of 215 undergraduate students, % 48 of whom were female, % 52 of whom were male. In order for students to respond to the survey tool of cyberloafing activities and reasons of application for cyberloafing activities, students who were chosen from every class level that had learning experience at least for one term in a computer laboratory. Therefore, students responded to the questions in measurement tools according to their experiences in the computer laboratories.
