ABSTRACT: The importance of information literacy for teachers has been recognized. Because of their mentor roles teachers should not only possess information literacy skills but also feel confident and competent in the use of these skills. In other words, teachers should develop high level self-efficacy beliefs for information literacy skills. In this paper, the level of teachers’ information literacy self efficacy beliefs and its relevance with their age, branches and levels they taught, and the schools they graduate from were examined
