| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the sociological perspectives of İbrahim Yasa, a prominent figure in Turkish sociology, on social structure and change. As one of the leading representatives of the Ankara School, Yasa made significant contributions to the institutionalization of sociology in Turkey through his field research on topics such as rural sociology, family structure, rural-urban migration, and modernization. Based on Yasa’s original works, the study systematically examines how he defines social structure, how he approaches social change, and which conceptual and theoretical frameworks he adopts to explain these processes. Furthermore, it discusses the extent to which Yasa’s sociological contributions can be related to contemporary social issues. In this regard, the thesis aims to contribute to the limited body of work on İbrahim Yasa and to offer a new perspective on the processes of social change in Turkey. | |
| dc.description.ozet | Bu çalışma, Türk sosyoloji tarihinde önemli bir yere sahip olan İbrahim Yasa’nın toplumsal yapı ve değişme hakkındaki sosyolojik görüşlerini analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ankara Ekolü’nün önde gelen isimlerinden biri olan Yasa, özellikle köy sosyolojisi, aile yapısı, iç-dış göç ve modernleşme gibi konulara dair yürüttüğü saha araştırmalarıyla Türkiye’de sosyolojinin kurumsallaşmasında önemli katkılar sunmuştur. Çalışmada, Yasa’nın özgün eserleri temel alınarak onun toplumsal yapıyı nasıl tanımladığı, toplumsal değişmeye nasıl yaklaştığı ve bu süreçleri açıklarken hangi kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçeveleri benimsediği sistematik biçimde incelenmiştir. Literatür taraması tekniğiyle gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada İbrahim Yasa’nın Türkiye’nin toplumsal yapısı ve değişimi, Türkiye’de aile ve köy sosyal yapıları ve bu yapıların değişimi konusundaki görüşlerini açıklamak, bu görüşlerin bugünkü yapının açıklanmasındaki etkisini değerlendirmek hedeflenmektedir. Bu yönüyle tezin, hem üzerine sınırlı sayıda çalışma yapılmış olan İbrahim Yasa’nın görüşlerini açıklamak suretiyle Türk sosyoloji tarihi literatürüne, hem de Türkiye’de toplumsal yapı ve değişme literatürüne katkıda bulunacağı değerlendirilmektedir. | |
