Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı Derleme Kayıtlarında Yer Alan Erzurum Yöresi Halk Ezgilerinde Ritim Sazların İcra Ettiği Kalıpların İncelenmesi

Abstract

For the Ankara State Conservatory folklore archive, many collections were done in 1937-1954 years from cities, towns and villages. The most popular collectors, composers and technicians were included to collection studies which were made to determine vocal and non-vocal (instrumental) folk music pieces. With these collection tours thousands of Turkish Folk Music pieces have been brought to this day by being included to our culture. The aim of this study is, by classifying Erzurum’s percussion accompanied records of collection studies for Ankara State Conservatory gathered from the recording archieve, to produce a kind of source that includes rhythm molds, to be useful for our culture and to form a reference model about this subject. Firstly it has been tried to reach to related resources by making a literature research. The datas of the subject has been gathered by making an archieve research. In archieve research, the collection papers of folk music pieces collected from Erzurum in 1937 from the archieve of Ankara State Conservatory, have been examined. 4 percussion accompanied collection papers have been identified. 15 pieces of 17 pieces have sound records. Except those pieces there are two pieces: one has two different sound records and the other one has no collection paper. By writing musical notes of these 17 pieces, there has been made examination in terms of rhythmic and musical manner. The most important difference of Turkish Music from the other genres is having a great rhythm molds which change according to flexible measures and forms. In Turkish Classical Music there has been made a system by producing one or more rhythm molds for each measure. When we analyze Turkish Folk Music in terms of rhythm, we can see the diversity, but the measures used in Turkish Folk Music pieces do not determine the true rhythmn molds. The rhythm molds have been produced with the effect of geographical features, life style and traditonal music manner. Because of this reason the rhythm molds used in Turkish Folk Music have to be analyzed and to be named according to regional diversity. This study has aimed to be a leader for increasing the resources which include traditional rhythm molds studies.
