Titanyum Alaşım Yüzeylerin Selektif Lazer Ergitme İşlemi ile Kaplanması Sonrası Yüzey Karakterizasyonunun Saos-2 Hücre Proliferasyonu Üzerine Etkisinin İncelenmesi
Özet
Nowadays, titanium and its alloys are the most common materials used in dental implants. Lathed-titanium implant surfaces are processed in various ways to produce the best bone-implant structure. Researches on shortening the duration of osseointegration of dental implants are gaining importance nowadays. For this reason this study will analyze the proliferation of Saos-2 cells after Grade 5 lathed-titanium disks are covered with titanium Grade 23 through the SLM process, in attempts to promote biocompatibility and surface features of implants. To do so, 48 lathed-titanium Grade 5, 6mm in diameter and 2mm in thickness, are separated into four sample groups (n=12). No surface process has been performed to the first group (control group). SLA procedure has been performed to the third group. Surfaces of the second and fourth group have been covered with Grade 23 titanium through the SLM procedure, and the SLA procedure has been performed on fourth group’s surface. Surface topographies of all groups have been tested with AFM, SEM-EDX and surface tension tests. Saos-2 planting has been performed on samples that have been sterilized under ultraviolet light (n=8). MTT test has been used to test percentage values of living cells on surfaces at the end of 24th,48th, and 72nd hours. Functionality of Saos-2 cells is determined via enzymatic ALP test. Fluorescent microscope is used to show 3-D positioning of the cells on modified titanium disks.
