Adolesan Futbolcuların Beslenme Durumları ile Sıvı Tüketimleri ve Kafein Alımlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Energy, nutrient elements and fluid requirements of player adolescents show differences in accordance with same age who are not practising. With the aim to determine of convenience of their requirements according to particular sport type; this study is applied on total 80 adolescent who these are star football team of Karabükspor Club, 15-18 age group players (n=40) and appear in the same age group but not active practising sport (n=40) adolescent male individuals on comparing of nutritional status, daily fluid and caffeine intakes of active sport practising and not practising adolescents. Introduction informations of adolescents, nutrition habits, fluid consumption, caffeine intake and physical activity situations are taken by general evaluation form (questionnaire form). Average body weights of all individuals who are join to this study is 61,1±11,6 kg, average height length is 171,2±7,5 cm and average BMI is 20,7±3 kg/m2. The difference between groups is not found statistically significant (p>0,05). Average daily total fluid intake amount of adolescents is 2685,2±933,6 mL and 211,4±324,4 mg (2872,9±780,1 mL and 141,2±139 mg in athletes, 2497,6±1041,5 mL and 281,6±428,6 mg in none athletes. While highness in total fluid amount for adolescent footballers is statistically significant (p<0,05), the difference between caffeine intakes is not significant (p>0,05). Energy, carbohydrate, fibre, vitamin A, B1, folic acid, potassium, calcium, and magnesium intakes of adolescents by diet are remained under dietary reference intakes (DRI) (p<0,05). According to this study’s results; gaining a good nutrition habits of adolescent athletes, applying sufficient level energy and nutrient elements in the diet are important for their growing and performance besides. There are necessity so many studies to determine the requirement increased by healthy nutrition and performance continuity in adolescent athletes.
