Color has been one of the complementary elements in interior design. While the selection of color to be used in interior design based solely on personal preferences can be a form of decoration, determining the color using available data, research on the subject, and various parameters has become possible with a consciously created interior architectural design concept. These mentioned data can vary according to factors such as the size, shape, and geography of the space, as well as global events. The redefinition of everything known in the world through technology and the invention of unknown things have led to events that change both the present and future of the world. As these events affect everything, they also impact the use of color in interior design, which is the subject of this thesis. The ease of communication and transportation from past to present has intertwined the very different habits and daily lives of nations that once lived separately, leading to lifestyles that are more similar and homogenized through digitization and globalization. This thesis examines the differentiation of color use in interior design starting from the 20th century in relation to all these global changes and transformations.
