As it is known, in many languages it is possible to create unlimited words through limited word formation. Different ways of word formation are used to form words in languages and to find appropriate equivalents for foreign words. In Turkish, many word formation methods are used for this purpose. In the historical periods of Turkish, some of these ways were used more widely, while others were used less frequently. Determining the word formation ways and the frequencies of these ways in historical texts of Turkish is important for our field. In this thesis, it is aimed to reveal the richness of Old Anatolian Turkish and therefore Turkish in word formation by giving an idea about the word formation methods used in Old Anatolian Turkish. For this purpose, Yunus Emre's Divan, one of the important works of his period, was examined. The words in Divan are classified according to the ways of making words. In the conclusion section, in the light of the data obtained, the ways of making words determined in the Divan and the number of words per article created by these ways are given.
